Fiddler’s Green

his is part of a cut from a CD I fiddled on for a musician friend (who plays all other instruments except for the bodhran, which is played by another friend, Ian Abramovitch). It's also a sort of test for file sound file formats. If you use SoundMachine to play the selection, be aware that it will download the file to your hard drive.

Don’t have a sound utility to play the files above? Download Rod Kennedy's SoundMachine (Mac) from his Site.

**Sorry all you DOS/Windows folks, someone has yet to enlighten me on a good standard sound utility for those formats!**

Recipe for Haggis
Gotcha! Yar. If you haven't tried it, don’t make a face yet. This falls under two catagories: a) Random shock value (unless, of course, you have no idea what I’m talking about. Doh!); and b) Good to eat but wouldn’t dream of attempting to cook some myself, my lack of skill in the kitchen being legendary. Unfortunately for you, unless you’re planning a trip to Scotland anytime soon--or are reading this FROM Scotland--(or attending a Robert Burns party), it’s not a likely menu item here in the U.S. I can hear the oh, darns now… This link is courtesy of
