Most people can survive for weeks without food, but you can only go a few days without water. This kit is simple and straightforward. It consists of 4 U.S. Coast Guard Approved 4.227 Fl. OZ Purified Drinking Water Ration packets in a sturdy plastic container. These packets have a shelf Life of 5 Years and they were Manufactured in January 1999. This kit contains enough water for 1 person for 2 days (2 Packets/Day). In addition the kit includes a bottle of 50 Potable Aqua "Water Purification Tablets" enough to treat 25 quarts of water.
