I am a LAN/Server Administrator with strong experience supporting Windows NT, Win2000, MS Exchange, NetWare, and Firewall1 and Cisco firewalls.  I can take initiative and work independently; I also work well as part of a team.  My immediate technical goals are to upgrade my MCSE for Windows 2000, and complete the CCNE exam.  My professional goal is to obtain a technical lead or project management position.

Responsibilities include the design, configuration and support of local area networks and communications in and between 45 countries.  Provide technical leadership for international I.T. staff with respect to LAN, server and mail issues.

 

Duties include global administration of: Windows NT, Windows 2000, MS Exchange, Novell Netware, Cisco PIX Firewall, Cobalt Qube and various applications and databases including MS Exchange, Platinum, Altiris, Websense & Norton Antivirus.  Environment includes Bay and Cisco switches, HP and Compaq servers.   

Major accomplishments include design, configuration and deployment of NetWare servers, NT servers, and MS Exchange in 40 countries.  Played key role in corporate Y2K global compliance initiative.  Currently serving as Designer/Planner for the company’s Windows 2000 Active Directory rollout.

Served as senior technician at the company’s corporate help desk serving 1500 users in 50 states.  Provided technical support for Windows 3.11 & NT 4.0, Microsoft Office products, and end-user Novell Network navigation.  Served as escalation contact for help desk staff managing critical client and technical issues.

 

Duties included administration of Novell NetWare, IBM AS400 account administration, and general network troubleshooting.   Served as technical lead for selection and implementation of Remedy for the Help Desk.

Served as technician for AT&T Web Site Services.  Duties included helping clients install, register and configure software received or supported by AT&T including: WorldNet dial up software, Microsoft FrontPage, Net Objects Fusion and AT&T's custom bots, scripts and secure internet transaction software.  Also supported FTP and basic UNIX commands.


Responsibilities as Lead Tech Agent also included peer support for fellow agents and database monitoring for client follow up.
