Corvette Interior

Thinking about buying a 'vette?  The best thing to do is visit one in person.  But if you're looking at this page at 2:00am some night and you want to know what the insides are like, here you go:

Here's the classic look at the dash as if you were sitting in the driver's seat piloting one of these babies.  The simplicity of the view belies the advanced information available at your finger tips: fuel economy, tire pressure, oil temperature, etc.

Nice view from the side.  Seats here are the optional sport.  To the left you can see the rear cargo "shelf."  This layout is very similar to a Camaro Z28 with the seat down.  Except in the Corvette the "shelf" is flat and underneath aren't seats, but a transmission, exhaust, etc.  Notice the lip at the front of the shelf to help keep cargo off the dash during "enthusiastic" stopping.  To the right you can see the passenger's grab-bar.  In the middle is the locking console.  Just in front of the console is the button to deactivate the active-handling.  To the right of the gear shift is the single cup holder with a flip-up plastic cover.

Nice view of interior looking into the driver's side window.  This car is a six-speed manual.  The cup holder  cover to the right of the shifter is flipped up.  Notice that this car is running by the tach.  Here you can see loads and loads of plastic comprising the Corvette's interior.
View from the right with the roof off.
