Engine
Much has been made of the Z06's superior power.
The block has been reworked for sustained high-speed operation, the camshaft has
a new profile and the intake manifold is new. The cylinder heads now have higher
compression, flow more air and use stronger valve springs.
Suspension
The Z06 features a unique FE4
suspension which
is not available on other Corvette models. It features a larger front stabilizer
bar, stiffer rear leaf spring and revised camber settings.

Tires
The Eagle F1 Supercar tires fitted on the Z06 have superior cornering
capability compared with the Eagle F1 GS fitted on regular Corvettes. The
Eagle F1 GS tires have run-flat capabilities and superior wet traction compared
to the Supercar tires.
