Many who find this page will think
to themselves, "Who cares?" But for those select few of you who
prefer to run racing fuel (100 Octane Unleaded) in your special street
machine, motorcycle, etc (whether occasionally or exclusively), this
page may interest
you.
I have been running exclusively
100 octane unleaded in my Modified Turbo Volvo for well over a
year. It's
not a daily driver. If it was, I couldn't afford the $6 plus per
gallon prices. But it allows the high-boost motor to run as it
should...
lots more power.
I know there are lots of places to
buy race fuel in barrels, but that's a pretty poor inconvenience when
your filling a 15 gallon fuel tank. Plus buying in barrels can
often cost more than conveniently buying at
the pump
when needed.
This site
will list
unleaded at-the-pump race fuel
sources so people like you
and me can hopefully
find a convenient fill-up.
I know there are lots of people
who don't have race fuel at
the pump near them. It's tragic. For them, buying drums
might be the
answer. I would rather not.
For those of you who have already
found rare at-the-pump
sources in California for
unleaded race
fuel not yet listed here... or if
you can confirm
an incomplete at-the-pump listing below, please take the
time to write me so I can update the sources here. Also, please
confirm the fuel is UNLEADED.
I have received leads that turn out only to be LEADED fuel. Also,
if you can get their business hours, phone or any other useful info,
