| I have been a computer
user for 19 years, back in the Apple II, Commadore, PS/2, etc days. I actually
had an Osborne "Luggable" amber screen and all running CP/M. Yep, B.D.
- before DOS. I have been a Mac user for 13 years what a revolution. Too
bad the execs got fat and lazy (after they booted Steve Jobs). Laziness
cost the Amigas and it almost killed the Mac. If Apple had continued to
push the envelope instead of riding the wave of high margins, the computer
industry would be better off. The latest Mac revolution has been exciting. |

| Don't mistake me
for your typical Mac Head. I am a multi-platform geek. Besides being good
with Macs, I am an above average user of Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, SGI Irix,
MS NT, and an infant at Linux. I personally believe that if you want to
get work done use a Mac or UNIX box. If you want to f@#* around with your
computer buy Wintel. If you are a true Super Geek Linux was made for you.
If you can get paid to do it all, cool! I believe that they all have their
place. Nevermind if some of it belongs in the garbage. ;) |
