May 2
Today we began by visiting Poole Quay, a coastal area along England's second largest natural harbor. There was a Fisherman's Wharf type setup so we wandered around for a bit before we sang open air.

We sang in Falkland Square which is bordered by a bunch of shops. We sang to attract some attention while a small group of the choir went out and talked to the people who stopped. Mostly we just handed out flyers to our other concerts, and an information brochure about us. Got to meet some interesting people.
After that, we went to Castle Dene Old Folk's Home. That was again and interesting experience. Some funny people there. One lady in the front row was making comments the whole time, and one lady in the back would say at every break in between songs, "Jesus loves me...this I know. Come on! Out with it! Out with it!" Eventually we did sing it for her.
Then we were off to our grandest concert, Wimborne Minster. This was the concert that we dragged our formal wear all the way across the ocean for. Oh well, I'd do it again just to sing there. It was an incredible place.

Courtesy of Andrew and Christer, our Christian Outreach International representatives, we ate Fish and Chips in a side building first.

Just for the record, Andrew and Christer were awesome. They bought us lunch and dinner frequently, made sure we were comfortable, scheduled all our events (and always stayed to hear us sing, even though it meant that they will have the songs stuck in their heads all summer), and took group shots with our 27 cameras (many times).
Then we changed and had our concert.

There were only about a dozen people who attended, but they all really loved us and apologized that there weren't more people there.
Singing in Wimborne was much better than St. Peter's. We could actually hear ourselves, for one. And acoustically it was awesome, even though we still didn't get anything but a small percentage of the actual sound the audience heard. Regardless, it was well worth the price of admission alone.
Afterwards, we got to stay for a bit and look around.

The place was incredible. Lots of dead people's graves and such. Very nice stonework, and so forth. Plus, just the sheer size of it.
After the concert, we got on the bus and went back to the College for sleep, although not that much of it.
