I actually got a full night's sleep for once. It was rather nice. We went into Bournemouth for some open air singing. We stood in the hub of the entire shopping area and sang our entire set three times. Lots of people stopped for a bit, or heard us as we went by. Several hundred at least. It was quite fun. Also, our crazed fan, Andy (not quite sure where we picked him up, but he was highly enthusiastic at our concerts), was there to cheer us on.
We stayed at the Hyde Park Plaza Hotel, which (suprise!) is right across the street from Hyde Park. I got a room with Josh which took forever to find given the fact it's at the end of a maze. For the fun of it, a group of us went into London and saw Les Miserables. It was a pretty good production, despite the fact that we had balcony seats (a balcony sloped about 50 degrees. Not good for someone scared of heights). It was interesting walking through London at night. It was very crowded, but not loud. Hundreds of people, and you could still hear music from across the street. Interesting social comparison study, I'm sure. Then we went back to the hotel for the night. |
