Here's a couple of classic banjo songs I recorded today. I learned how to play 5-string banjo (bluegrass/3-finger picking/scruggs style) when I was a kid. The banjo is fun to play fast and loud!

I went to Echo Park today with Mom and Dad. We took a little paddle boat ride around the lake. Mom was very nostalgic around the church across the street from the park (Angeles Temple) which is where she spent alot of time when she was a kid. Here's some pictures...(Athena, thanks for letting me borrow your camera!)

I was watching one of those rock biography shows today. This one was on Def Leppard so I recorded one of their songs. I couldn't find any good tab that covers the fairly recognizable intro though. Maybe I'll work that out on my own someday...I experimented with editing and amplification with this one.

This is a picture of me and my sister Lisa in Arizona.
We had just got back from the Titanic exhibit in Phoenix.
It was pretty good. They had a 25 ton piece of the hull, the bell they rang, and the ship's telegraph!
(I don't have any pictures of that though, but check it out when it comes to your town!)
In the picture, we're looking at something off to the side. I don't remember what it was though.
I had to go to AZ for a training class on Information Security
so I visited my dad, his wife Marie, my sister Lisa and her husband Darrell out there.
