Ayn Rand, a Russian born immigrant to the United States, achieved something completely new to the human experience and was villified unmercifully for it. She formulated a new philosophy based on reality and the nature of man. Her philosophy, Objectivism, is the only philosophy based entirely on man's intellect. Hers is the only philosophy in which there are no contradictions and which integrates consistently into all facets of human endeavor. She is to philosophy what Einstein is to science.
It more succintly defines the principles and ideology to which the Founding Fathers alluded in the Declaration of Independence in 1776. It is the philosophy of Individual Rights and Personal Freedom which are ignored by today's mainstream political parties. It is a philosophy whose principles are embraced by only one political party.
The Libertarian Party is the only political party today which espouses and wishes to return to the ideas of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America. Their goal is freedom from coercion and oppression by a government which is totally out of control.
The United States government has purported itself to being the defender of freedom and the enemy of Communism for as long
as I can remember (DOB 1944). I have watched in amazement while our
leaders
politicians have proclaimed Communism the utmost evil and have been little by little legislating it into the laws of the
United States of America as the way of our life for the future.
