I would like to welcome you to Pat's Train World. This site is dedicated to the hobby of model railroading and toy train collecting. It features Lionel trains and HO/HOn3 models. Since I am a hobbyist and railroad enthusiast, this site is used as an extension of the hobby. If you find this site helpful, please add your name to my mailing list. I am fortunate to live on the west coast where there is a large number of train shows throughout the year that I go to. There are many items on the market here that may be very hard to find in other areas of the country. Thanks to the advent of the internet, it is now easier locate and buy the items you want regardless of where you may live.
The majority of the trains listed here are from the steam era and represent both standard and narrow gauge equipment from 1880 through the 1950's. I have chosen to specialize in this time period for two reasons, first because it is my area of interest and second, because I have found it difficult to locate items in the past that relate to a particular era. Many of the items listed here are found in the Walther's Catalog. As a rule, I try to price most items at a 20-25% discount from the retail price.
Other trains listed here are collectable tinplate and brass items. Prices for these items vary according the current market. The Lionel trains found here are mostly from the Postwar era, 1945-1969. However, items from all eras may be found here from time to time. The HO trains include quality brass models as well as plastic HO rolling stock and accessories. I will try to post a photo with each item, however, if you would like to see additional photos, let me know and I will email them to you.

In an effort to provide better service and hopefully increase sales, I have opened up another store aside from eBay with ProStores. They are associated with eBay, but don't have the high seller fees that eBay has. Because of this, I can reduce the prices of items by at least 20% and in most cases, 25%.
