Our firm was responsible for the design, engineering, and construction of the entire classified area. Three-phase project. The first phase primarily related to the existing office area location and facility modifications. The second phase involved the work required in the burn production areas. Phased relocation of approx. 200,000 s.f. of class 100,000. 10,000, 1,000 and 100 clean rooms. Included 3 new modular clean rooms and the relocation of over 2000 pieces of laboratory equipment.

Relocated Microwave Integrated Circuit Lab from Fullerton, CA to El Segundo, CA. 38,000 square foot project with RF shielding, process piping (LN2, Lab Gases), utility walls, relocation of existing equipment from the Fullerton, CA laboratories. RF shielded rooms were dismantled, transported, and re-assembled in the finished space. Build-out of labs and offices. Project included completely gutting entire area and rebuilding in an area with limited access and occupied areas surrounding the job site.

Complete remodel, interior demolition and fit-up of 75,000 square foot space.

Competitively bid project, part of the SBIRS program. Construction included a 60’ x 30’ x 30’ deep pit to house a payload test facility. Class 10,000 clean room and computer control room.
