Error 629: The port was disconnected by the remote computer.
This is by far the most common, and dreaded, error message you will come across (hell, I named the site after it). Here we cover how to handle the problem, from power cycling all the way to a full uninstallation/reinstallation of the software and even the NIC.
Error ID 6: Unable to establish or maintain a session?
This is basically the Mac's Version of an Error 629 (ErrorID6.com sounded kinda stupid). Here we cover how to handle the problem, from power cycling to trashing prefrences (it DOES work) to uninstallation/reinstallation of the software.
Error 691: Access denied because the username or password was invalid on the domain.
This is another very common error to come across, and usually very easy to fix. Simply put 99.9% of the time this is caused by mis-entering the username and/or password. Try re-entering them and most of the time you'll connect fine. Here we will cover what to do when that does not work.
Connected but unable to browse and when disconnecting Error: Your password has expired.
This is basically the Mac's Version of an Error 691, except that MacPoET does not properly handle the PPP authentication failure, 99.9% of the time this is caused by mis-entering the username and/or password. Try re-entering them and most of the time you'll connect fine. Here we will cover what to do when that does not work.
