Special Ops Creed…
S pecial Ops means I recognize the fact that I have
volunteered and have been chosen as one of the elite. Being chosen as a Special Ops
operative I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor and high "Espirit De
Corps" of my Regiment. Gallantly will I show the world that I'm a specially selected
and well trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of
equipment shall set the example for others to follow. Above all I will reach my
objective honorably, I WILL NEVER CHEAT to obtain a victory!
P ride in my Unit, Team and Myself will always lead my
actions. Never shall I fail my comrade's. I will always keep myself mentally alert,
physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task
whatever it may be. One Hundred-percent and then some. I will be their eyes and ears,
working as one TEAM entity.
E ver vigilant of the
dangers to the team should they be flanked I will provide back-up to any & all team members and
constantly watch their backs when they are engaged in fire. I will be the eyes in the back
of their head as they will be the eyes in the back of mine.
C ourageously and Energetically will I meet the enemies of
my country. Acting without mercy I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am
better trained and will fight with all my might. I will always maintain that I am a member
of a team and never an individual.
I will train endlessly… mastering each weapon available to me, for these are the tools of my trade. I will choose my weapons carefully as to compliment my team and enhance the effectiveness of it to complete our objective.
A cknowledging the
fact that as a Special Ops elite soldier I will arrive at the cutting edge of battle by
land, sea, or air, moving further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier. I
accept that my country and team members expect me to be in place and do my part to
complete the mission successfully. I will never leave my team in jeopardy while
maintaining my own safety over the safety of the team.
L oyalty to my superiors, chain of command, and allegiance
to the force is engrained in my soul! I will never overstep my authority. My superiors
lead and I will follow! I will never question their authority and will never degrade them
when speaking to others. If I find I can not follow their orders or respect them I will
immediately resign my status in writing as a Special Operations operative.
O ne force, One team, One person… Unbeatable. I will
perform the impossible. Be where others cannot be, see where others can not see, act when
others can not act. My team is my lifeblood and I am theirs. If I fail, my team is
jeopardized… Therefore I will NOT fail!
P recision accuracy is
foremost… I will place each shot on target whether it be as a sniper or lead
infantry. I will choose every shot carefully identifying each target as the enemy before
releasing my lethal payload. I will never fire recklessly as to jeopardize any of my team
to "Friendly Fire".
S urrender is not a Special Ops word. I will Never fail to
respond to the call of a comrade needing my assistance knowing they will always respond to
mine. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no
circumstances will I ever embarrass my country, the prestigious name of Special Ops, or my
Squad.
