Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project
Adolescence can be a difficult time for parents and their children. Valley-Wide offers assistance through a teen pregnancy prevention project. Programs include: “Safer Choices”, a comprehensive program that educates teens about preventing pregnancy, HIV infection and other STD’s. Safer Choices is offered at North Mountain

Middle School, San Jacinto High School and Mountain View High School. Workshops are also available for parents, grandparents, and guardians providing valuable information, tools, and resources to assist in talking with their children about sex, drugs, peer pressure, and other related topics.

Baby Think It Over

Valley-Wide is pleased to announce the addition of a pilot program, “Baby Think It Over” (BTIO) to enhance our teen pregnancy prevention program “It Takes Two”.  The purpose of the BTIO program is to give teens the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about parenting.  The parenting simulation uses an infant simulator (Baby) to explore the emotional, financial, and social consequences of parenting.  The “Baby Think It Over” program is made possible in part by a grant from the Community Foundation, serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
