Jores Hansen Bergen (1649-c1736) was an early settler of New York. He took the Oath of Allegiance to the British Government, 1687.

Hans Hansen Bergen (d. 1654), of Brooklyn, N.Y., signed resolutions to take measures for defense against Indian attacks.

Cornelis Lambertse Cool (1599-1643) was a landowner of Long Island, N. Y., 1639

Adrian Hegeman (d. 1672) was a clerk of Flatbush, N. Y., 1659-61.

Dennyse Hegeman was sent by the Government, 1691, to Nova Scotia to enact a treaty with the Indians.

Joris Jansen Rapalie (1572-c1664) was a magistrate of Brooklyn, 1655-56-5 and 1660.

Gerret Wolfersen Van Couwenhoven (1610-1644) was a magistrate of Flatbush, 1644.

Capt. Jan Strycker (c1615-c1697) was a magistrate, 1654-1673, of New Amsterdam.

Evert Van Wicklen took the Oath of Allegiance, 1703.  He caine to America from Holland, 1665.

Hendrick Wilson (1680-1750), of Long Island, N. Y.. was a land owner.

Williarn Hand (1722-1805) was a landowner of Milburn. N. J.

Wolfert Gerretsen Van Couwenhoven (1588-1661) was an early settler of New York, near Albany. He was born in Holland.

Steven Coerte Van Voorhees (1600-84) was a landowner of Flatlands.  He was born in Holland.

Obadiah Bruen (1606-1680), of Plymouth. was a freeman, 1642; selectman and representative. 1647.

Benjamin Wilmot (1584-1669). of New Haven, took the Oath of Fidelity. 1648. He was born in England.

Nathaniel Bonnell (1648-aft.1696) of New Haven took the Oath of Fidelity at Elizabethtow,1665

William Bonnell (Bunnell) (d. 1680) was a juryman. 1630, of Massachusetts Bay Colony.  He was born in England, about 1605 died in New Haven.

Thomas Payne (1586-1650) was a deputy from Yarmouth (Cape Cod) to the first General Court of the Colony of Plymouth.

Philemon Dickinson (1598-1672), Southold, L. I., was granted land 1639.

Peter Dickinson (b.1648) was landowner and overseer of Southold. L.I.

Isaac Whitehead (d. 1690) took the Oath of Fidelity of New Haven, Conn., 1647.

John Whitehead, of New Haven, was one of the founders of the town.

Roelof Martense Schenck (1620-1705) patented land, 1661, in Flatlands.

Albert Albertse Terhune (1619-1685).

Jan (John) Albertse Terhune (d. 1705) was lieutenant of militia, 1691; captain, 1700, of Flatlands,   L. I.

Joseph Bonnell (d. 1747) was major and first mayor of Elizabeth, N. J., and Judge of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
