The photo below show the arm of a 90+ year old woman who injured herself on two occasions.  On the right you will notice the first injury resulting from an abrasion.  The original injury was about 2.5 inches long and .75 inches wide.  As you can see, the resulting scar is the same size of the original wound.  This injury was treated by medical professionals in the traditional manner using antibiotics.  The dressing was changed on a daily basis with the application of additional antibiotics.  The wound healed in just over four (4) months. 

Shortly after the first injury was healed, she stumbled again and suffered a second abrasion injury.  In the same photo just left of center you can see the healed wound from the second abrasion.  The original size of this injury was almost as large as the first.  It measured about 2 inches long and nearly .75 inches wide.  This time the wound was treated using Body-GaardTM instead of antibiotics.  The dressing was changed daily and it was moistened several times each day with Body-GaardTM.  Instead of four months to heal, this time it took a total of 
16 days ... more than 104 days faster. 

You will notice that the scar from the second injury is much smaller than the first even though the original wounds were almost the same size.  In the months since this photo was taken the second scar has faded to a pale pink and is virtually unnoticeable.
