The track record of the FDA gets worse when you examine systemic (in the blood) conditions.  There is so little "approved treatment" available that most medical professionals do not even test for infections in the blood.  Sure, they run blood test, but for what conditions do they test?  How about cholesterol?  Is it surprising that the current crop of cholesterol lowering “statin” drugs are among the most profitable for the big drug companies?  Tell me that the drug companies haven't trained the doctors well.

I know a person who had a candida infection in his blood.  No, his doctor did not diagnose the condition.  He had to find a blood specialist who put a drop of his blood under a microscope.  This simple test showed the candida eating away at the white cells (the ones that fight infection) in the blood.  Why didn't the doctor do this test?  Could it be that the doctor does not have an FDA “approved” treatment to fight this condition?  After taking an ounce of ionic silver every day for several months, the blood test was repeated.  The blood showed no candida and a normal count of healthy white cells.
