Insurance companies have made a science of knowing exactly what to allow and what NOT to allow when you get sick.  They know to the penny what you are likely to cost them.  They also know what to exclude from treatment because it will cost them too much. 

If you are unlucky enough to contract one of the illness or conditions which falls in the "TOO MUCH" category, you are expected to come up with the money.  The courts are filled with cases where people are trying to force the insurance to pay for these items.  Seldom does the patient win because the insurance companies have lawyers who spend all their time finding ways to not pay.
