The cost of the newest drugs is going through the roof.  In an effort to cover their developmental costs and reap hugh profits the drug companies are charging unbelievable prices for their latest creations.  Add to that the army of salespeople who are pitching these costly drugs to the doctors and the cost of being sick becomes completely uncontrolled.
