My wife's rescue dog (shown above on the left) was sighted for the first four years of her life.  Over the past year the cataracts developed to the point that there is no reaction to a light shown in her face.  At this time she navigates using her hearing and sense of smell.  I am surprised that she doesn't have a bruise on her nose from bumping into things.

It is too soon to expect improvement in the cataracts.  I will continue the treatment for the next two to three months while monitoring any progress.  Since the cataracts are so advanced it is possible that there will be no improvement, but we are going to try.  I will report the results (hopefully progress) in future updates of this page.
