I used a few drops of Pet-GaardTM to treat an eye infection my dog had for nearly a month. Each day he would have dark streaks on his face caused by the drainage from both eyes. I find that pets are prone to getting injuries and infections when bounding through the plants and weeds when off leash. I have used Pet-GaardTM to treat these minor conditions with great success. When his eyes became infected I was cautious about treating this condition the same way. However, I have read many reports of users putting drops of Body-GaardTM in their eyes with no negative side effects. I also had a friend who solved a chronic eye infection in a few days with a couple of drops in each eye. I decided to try it in my eyes first before treating the dog. I knew that Pet-GaardTM contained the same active ingredient as Body-GaardTM so I rinsed out an old eyedropper bottle and refilled it with Pet-GaardTM, diluting it 2 to 1 with chlorine free tap water. I was not concerned with sterilizing the water first since the infection fighting ingredients would kill any pathogens in the water. When I placed the drops in my eyes there was no uncomfortable sensation or stinging. My eyes felt refreshed. Since there was no uncomfortable sensation from the drops I expected no problem when treating the dog. He accepted the drops with no complaint, but, as soon as I released him he shook his head to get rid of the excess. I knew it would be better if the solution remained in his eyes a little longer. I had him lay on his side and retreated one eye at a time keeping him on his side for about a minute for each eye. After two days of treatment the eye infection was healed and has returned only once since. Of course, as soon as it appeared I put the drops in his eyes again - problem solved. Your pets deserve the best protection you can provide. When you treat your pets' environment with Pet-GaardTM you minimize the chance of your pet of getting sick. Bio-GaardTM
products can help you control your environment to minimize the chance of
infection and disease.
